About the event
Wonderfully Made Teens is designed especially for creative, expressive artists ages 11–13 who are ready to explore art in a way that feels personal, stylish, and uniquely their own. This month’s featured project invites students to design and paint custom journals that blend creativity with self-expression.
In this hands-on class, artists will transform a blank journal into a one-of-a-kind piece of functional art. Using paint, color layering, and creative design techniques, students are encouraged to explore their personal style — whether bold and vibrant, soft and aesthetic, minimal, playful, or completely outside the box.
Beyond simply creating something beautiful, this project encourages creative decision-making, confidence, and individuality. Students will experiment with color palettes, composition, and artistic details while developing fine motor skills and strengthening their creative voice.
